So the tour is done, finished up 18th overall. Not uber excited by this result and my ride up Brasstown was abit lack luster, don’t really know what more could have expected having done not much proper racing yet this year. Next race is the US Airforce then Mt Hood.

215km, 11 000 feet of climbing. Cam was out in the break tearing it a new one, they were gone for 160km. Pack split up over the final KOM, Trent Lowe took the yellow jesrey, so that means I get to wear the yong mans jersey tomorrow. Not the same as wearing because im actually leading it, sitting second, but I guess still some plublicity for the team, we need all we can get.

Super fast for the first 60km again. Break went away after the pack sat up because of a crash. Tim Duggan of Slipstream crashed heavily, never nice to see a nice guy like that go down and get hurt. Two laps of a super hard finishing circuit, pack blew apart abit, sprint finish, Team Type 1 decided 300m to go would be a good time to sit up and open a gap, idiot. Hopefully dont get time gapped.

Long day. Break of 3 got up the road after 70km of non stop attacking. Got brought back, hit the finishing circuits, crash before the sprint, Pinner 5th.

Stage one was super fun. We rode out and back and then did a circle. Pan Man is a great, but . He couldn’t sprint at the end because the heat really bothers him and he was on the wrong side. I rode in a break with four guys for a while–including: Peltonen from Bissel, Van Ulden from JBelly, Nydam from BMC, Stevic from Toyota-United and finally Frank Pipp from Healthnet.
