TDU Wrap Up…
Today we finished the first race of the year and for me my first ever Pro Tour race. We finished of with an 85 km circuit race in the city here. We again missed the main break and had to chase, we are getting pretty good at it, haha, but after that we had it covered when Ryder and Cam got up the road in the counter attack that just got brought back with one lap of the 4.5 km circuit. In the end it was, for the 6th time, a bunch sprint with Liquigas coming out on top. We did loose Ryder’s 10th place when a rider in the early move was able to take a time bonus sprint and move ahead of him on the GC, but in the end it is still January and the biggest races are still aways off. Thanks to all the Canadian fans who cheered us on and waved the the maple leaf high during this past weeks racing. Now it’s 10 days in Sydney before flying on to Malaysia for the Tour of Langkawi.

Nice ride Christ…pretty cool seein’ your name posted with (and above:-)) some of those ‘other names’!!

A
