The hunt is on…
Four days after our arrival in Spain the apartment hunt is going full steam, with 2 inspected and 4 more on the plate for this morning. The days have also been busy with training and sorting out all the little things needed when moving to another country, such as getting your NIE number (foreigner identification number)and opening a bank account. The apartment search has been going well but finding a place in the old town has been a bit harder that expected as there are few to begin with and finding one that gets any amount of direct sunlight is a challenge as many of the building are so close together the sun cannot penetrate the narrow alley ways. For us sunlight is one stipulation we are not willing to give up and also living just on the brink of the old town would also allow us to get a two bedroom place making room for future visitors, you can RSVP your holiday plans with Amber, haha. The weather has been good since our arrival with lots of sun with temps in the high teens to mid twenties, not quite Aus but still great.
