Paris-Nice

Tomorrow it’s off to Paris-Nice and one of the teams first big stage races of the year. We arrive an extra day early so our main men to the prologue, David Millar and Dwayner, can get some quality time on the 8km parcours. After a solid start to the year with Qatar and Oman, Svein is looking and feeling good and I have felt like the form has been coming around after a bit of sickness struck me down at Tour de Med. There will be lots of work to be done next week with Christian and David our leaders, and if all goes well we are hoping to build on the success of Robbie in Vuelta Murcia.

My week has been broken up by a trip to Germany to celebrate my grandmothers 90th birthday, with my family visiting from Canada and the first time all my cousins have bee together at one time it was a real treat. From there my family followed to Spain and we have been enjoying some lunches and Amber has played the uber host and tourist guide.

Amber has been cooking up a storm lately with amazing soups and curry dishes. She will be posting some of her new recepies
